| IMPEDANCE - A property of transmitting an electrical signal, used in home cinema and hi-fi to identify efficiency of speakers and is represented in Ohms. High impedance speakers require only a small signal while a low impedance speaker requires a bigger, stronger signal and is therefore harder for an amplifier to drive. |
